I’ve been living in Abu Dhabi for about three years now and I’m still trying to figure out the best places for car maintenance around here. I drive a 2019 Toyota Land Cruiser that’s been absolutely reliable, but I’ve noticed recently that the battery is starting to show its age – the cranking is getting slower, especially on those humid mornings, and the other day the dashboard lights flickered for a second when I started the engine, which I know from experience is usually a warning sign. I’ve always had good experiences with Energizer batteries in the past when I lived in the UK – they seemed to last longer and handle extreme temperatures better than some other brands I tried – so I’m keen to get another one for my Land Cruiser. The problem is, I’m not sure where to find a genuine one here in Abu Dhabi, particularly around the Musaffah area where I work and spend most of my time. I’ve driven past countless battery shops in the industrial zone but I have no idea which ones actually stock authentic Energizer products versus ones that just slap a sticker on a cheap battery and call it a day. I’m really hoping to find a place that does genuine Energizer car battery replacement in Musaffah because I don’t want to risk getting a counterfeit or old stock that’ll die on me after a few months. I’ve heard horror stories about people buying batteries that looked legit but turned out to be fakes, with inferior internals that just couldn’t handle the heat here. I’m also a bit concerned about the installation process – the Land Cruiser is a pretty straightforward vehicle, but I still want to make sure the terminals are cleaned properly and the battery is securely fastened, especially with the kind of rough roads I sometimes drive on. I don’t mind paying a fair price for a quality product and proper installation, I just want to make sure I’m not being ripped off or sold something that’s not genuine. If anyone in the Musaffah area has recently bought an Energizer battery and can recommend a trustworthy supplier, I’d really appreciate the tip. Also, if anyone knows roughly what I should expect to pay for a good quality Energizer battery for a Land Cruiser, that would help me know if I’m being quoted a fair price. I’m planning to get this sorted over the weekend before I end up stranded somewhere, so any quick advice would be massively helpful.
